Muffins with cocoa, nuts and orange flavor

Ingredients

130 gr. Flour

40 gr. Cocoa

10 gr. Baking powder

100 gr. Sugar

30 gr. Butter

30 gr. Sunflower oil

40 gr. Caramel cream

150 gr. Milk

1 pc. Egg

10 gr. Salt

50 gr. Walnuts

1 pc. Orange zest

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C fan.

  2. Prepare the muffin pan where you bake them, buttering each case lightly with a brush.

  3. Sift the flour, salt, cocoa and baking powder into a bowl, then add the sugar, salt and mix with the egg beater.

  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan without burning, remove from the heat and add the milk, sunflower oil, caramel cream, egg and whisk until all of the ingredients are completely combined.

  5. Combine the liquid elements in the bowl with the solids, add the walnuts last and stir until they are completely incorporate.

  6. Fill the cases in the pan with the mixture until full and put a nice big nut.

  7. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes.

  8. Check the muffins by insert a toothpick in the center of the muffin and it comes out clean and dry, if it is with a liquid mixture it means that it needs more baking.

  9. Serve the muffins with either milk or coffee.
