Tzatziki

Ingredients

500 gr. Greek strained yogurt 

1pcs. Cucumber

2-3 cloves. Garlic

100 gr. Olive oil

Salt

Pepper

Vinegar or Lemon juice

Dill

Method

  1. Wash the cucumber, cut it in half and remove the seeds with a teaspoon.

  2. Grate the cucumber with its skin on the grater, add a pinch salt transfer it to a sieve and press with a spoon to drain its liquids.

  3. Finely chop the garlic, put it in a pan with a teaspoon of olive oil on low heat and lightly cooked (we do this to lighten the strong smell of garlic).

  4. Put the cucumber in a bowl, add the yogurt, garlic, olive oil, vinegar and finally mix the dill, salt and pepper.
